Hotel 52 Stanley - Stanley (Durham)

I had a pretty rough stay. The shower was ridiculously loud, and it felt like there was constant noise from other rooms.

The whole place was spotless and the staff were attentive. Got standard room with 3 separate beds, access to main roads, as for instance as expected. Everything was really good, though a few employees were very chatty.

The location is central. The service is good, includes easy to access parking.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel! The room was spacious and clean, making it a cozy retreat after a long day. It's located conveniently close to the town center, which was super handy for exploring. Plus, the tea and coffee facilities in the room were a nice touch that made mornings feel a bit special!

Getting in was a bit tricky since there wasn't anyone at reception when I arrived, and I had to ring a number to get my key. the restaurant next door had inconsistent service and was closed earlier than expected.

I loved the short stroll to Chapman's Well Local Nature Reserve, where I enjoyed some peaceful walks surrounded by nature, and the close proximity to the vibrant Touchwood Cafe made for the perfect spot to refuel after my explorations.

Incredibly responsive staff who provided excellent local recommendations.

The shower pressure was disappointingly low, making it a struggle to enjoy my morning routine.

The facilities were excellent, offering everything I needed for a pleasant experience. Plus, the roller blind at the window provided a simple yet effective solution for light control.

One minor downside was the limited view from the room, as the roller blind restricted any outside scenery.

Consider bringing your own cookware if you're staying in the apartment, as the kitchen is lacking essential utensils.

I loved the clean and comfortable room we had, and the home-cooked breakfast was fantastic. The restaurant next door had great food too. the parking situation was a bit tricky.

Great accommodation for the price we paid, it was clean n comfy. All the staff we met were super friendly n helpful. Breakfast was yummy n well worth it, the staff at Rangos were amazin n couldn't do enough for u.

the only downside was the noise from the next room which was kinda annoying at times.

We enjoyed our time here, especially the cute staff who were eager to assist. Despite some minor issues like a lack of kitchen utensils, the location made it easy for us to find nearby dining options. I'd recommend asking for extra amenities upon arrival.

The family room was spacious and comfortable, perfect after a long day of exploring the nearby Beamish Museum. We also enjoyed our meals at the Rangos restaurant, where the friendly staff made sure we were well taken care of. A bit more variety in breakfast options could enhance the overall experience.

The room was looked super fresh and recently refurbished, with soft, comfy beds, made for a great night's sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it was conveniently close to the wedding venue we were attending.
